Pride and Prejudice 2005~A review~

I did my Pride and Prejudice review over again, because I thought the other one was not exactly my opinion. So here it goes.

The Music. It's gorgeous. So good. Dario Marianelli did the music, and he did a wonderful job.

The Set.  The set is also veeeeery pretty.

Elizabeth ''Lizzy'' Bennet.
Keira Knightley does a perfect portrayal of Lizzie. Caring and kind, but also challenging, sometimes cross, and defensive. And she has lovely dresses. The green one for example. Not my top favourite maybe, but one of the best. Although, as Naomi said once, in her ''On why I don't like Pride and Prejudice 2005'' she has, how do you call it, those little things underneath her wig? I don't know. And she wears lose hair. But that is to explain. She didn't have time to put it right, because she wanted to see her sister and you could see by that that she cares less about her look than the other sisters. And that she wears pyama's is perfectly to explain too. That day in the field, where she met Mr Darcy again, was just coincidence. She wanted to get fresh air, probably. But what am I doing? This is not to be a contradicting post, isn't it?

Jane Bennet.
Rosamund Pike plays Jane perfectly. She is sweet, innocent shy, pretty...
Jane wears very pretty dresses too. Sheis very close to Lizzie.
This is maybe the shortest part ever wrote about anyone. My apologies :)

Mary Bennet.
I like Mary Bennet. Of course, she doesn't wear colourfol clothes, but that makes her different than her sisters. She loves to play the piano and is very shy. I feel sorry for her. She almost never talks.

Lydia and Kitty Bennet.
They are very similar, but at the same time they are very different. They are very close, like Lizzie and Jane. They giggle often, and have both same interests. Lydia is a little boastful blabbermouth. She can't shut her mouth, while Kitty doesn't say much at all. They wear pretty similar dresses too. Like on the picture on the left. The only difference is that Lydia has a blue one and Kitty a green one.

Mrs Bennet.
Mrs Bennet is funny, and she wants her daughters to marry. However, she doesn't like to see her daughters leave, which is perfectly understandable. I think Brenda Blethyn does a great job acting Mrs Bennet.

              Mr Bennet.
He is very funny, loves his daughters and his wife, does what is right for Lizzie, comforst Mary when he offended her by accident. All with all, he is a good husband and father. And I love the little banters between him and Mrs Bennet.
''Oh, Mr Bennet, how can you tease me so? Have you no compassion for my poor nerves?''
''You mistake me, my dear. I have the highest respect for them. They've been my constant companions these twenty years.''

Mr Collins.
Mr Collins is a little bit awkward, and serious. That doesn't mean I don't like him. He is quite funny sometimes. And he cares a lot about the opinion of Lady Catherine DeBourgh, and likes to tell everyone that he is under protection of Lady Catherine. He has some very funny lines.
''What a superbly featured room and what excellent boiled potatoes. Many years since I had such an exemplary vegetable. To which of my fair cousins should I compliment the excellence of the cooking?'' or ''And though I do sometimes amuse myself with arranging such little elegahttps://www.blogger.com/blogger.g?blogID=3272224146255270569#editor/target=post;postID=3570286637086292610;onPublishedMenu=overview;onClosedMenu=overview;postNum=0;src=postnament compliments, I always wish to give them as unstudied an air as possible.''

Charlotte Lucas(Mrs Collins).
She is Lizzie's best friend and very kind. She said: ''Not all of us can afford to be romantic....I'm twenty-seven years old. I am not romantic you know. I never was.'' and after she said:''Don't you dare judge me, Lizzie! Don't you dare judge me!''she didn't want to here Lizzie complaining against her decision.
She also said: ''Yes of course, what other kind of engaging is there?'' I think she was sick of Lizzie pretending(well, I think it was pretending) like she didn't know anything about it.

Mr Darcy.
Mr Darcy is kind, proud, and loves his sister very much. As she said:''My brother spoils me.''  I don't have much to say about him, as usally happens when there are characters you just don't have much to say about. So this one will be short too. I have to quit anyway.

There are other characters: Lady Catherine, Georgiana Darcy, Mr and Mrs Gardiner, the maid(what was her name? Bettie? Bessie? I can't remember anymore), oh yes, Mr Wickham was there too. I have only to say about him that he is mean, and wicked(which his name says already''Wick''ham).

Elizabeth marries to Mr Darcy, although we have never seen that part in the movie. Only that ''Mrs Darcy. Mrs Darcy'', which was terrible, and only put in because British people didn't thought it romantic enough.
