~Wintery Wintery Winter!~

Winter has come! Winter with a capital ''W''. Snowy winter, icy winter, cold winter. Where little white crystals, who miraculously are all different, fall from the sky and land on the cold ground. Or where raindrops pitter-patter on leafs, streets and roofs and all else outside, with grey rainclouds and pools, or white white snow that hurts your eyes because it's so white, and blue skies, yellow-white clouds, sunbeams peeking through the windows, and slowly melting snow, whatever is most common where you live. Or maybe it isn't even winter where you live. That's possible. Anyhow, today it is the really white snow and blue skies with yellow-white clouds for us, and yesterday (and the day before) it was the first option with a lot of snow swirling. And really, a lot. More than 10 centimetres fell in these past two days. And that's a lot for Holland. Because we haven't had a lot of snow these years. Yes,last year, there was pretty much later on, but not as much as this year. The years before we had wet snow to no snow at all. Not a nice winter.

That, the picture above, is really how it looked like this winter! It is not a picture of our environment, because yeah, I forgot to take pictures of them like I wanted to do and now, sadly, the snow is starting to go away. Okay, there's still a real thick pack of snow right now, but it's not as pretty as it was. So just a random winter picture from Pinterest then. Today, it hasn't snowed anymore, it stopped snowing yesterday at around...I don't know...9 o'clock in the evening or something like that? Maybe 8 o'clock. So it snowed the day before yesterday, pretty hard, and me and my siblings (that is me, my three younger siblings, my older brother and my older sister. Not my oldest sister) and some kids from the neighborhood went outside and started a snowball fight. For a while, but then we started making two forts, one for the boys and one for the girls. Then, one of the neighbor kids said we could make an iglo. And we did. We broke the girls' fort down and added it to the boys' fort, and we made half of the iglo. Almost the whole circle was done, and it was about the height of my five year old brother, but we didn't finish it. Probably won't finish it at all, 'cause it will get warmer this week until 6 degrees. So, no finished iglo then. Yesterday, we also built a bit of the iglo (that's when we built almost the whole circle) and it was snowing real hard with a cold cold wind. My toes were freezing off (metaphorically speaking, of course), it was so cold. Luckily, I had a warm winterjacket, and good gloves, but I don't have snowboots, so I used my boots. Really really cold (My feet started itching when I was warming up again). Of course, the whole hall was full of ice, snow and water, which is really annoying, but that's cleaned now.

Okay, so I'm curious now. I made a new page that includes reviews I have made over the past two years, and I added something to my sidebar, namely ''Labels''. But...when I view my blog, I cannot see anything new. Still no ''Labels'' and also still just 5 pages, and not 6. How is that possible while I did publish the ''Reviews'' page three times and I made the ''Labels'' thingy on the sidebar and saved it twice? I mean, I can't see anything right now, can you? Maybe it's a bug or something. Which would not be nice, but you can't have everything, right? Anyhow, how was winter at your place?

  1. I. LOVE. SNOW.

We actually got a little bit of snow where I live! That is a miracle because we live by the Gulf of Mexico

As to the pages thing, I think you have to click this check mark to make sure it's visible. Sorry that this isn't more helpful :/

    1. ME TOO!!
You live by the Gulf of Mexico!? Wow! I would love to visit Mexico, that actually counts for whole of America, but also Mexico pretty much, cause I like that country(can't really explain why, but...)
Oh, okay! Thanks, I will try right away! :)

  2. I love snow, too! ...but I hate the cold weather. (I can't explain it.) It snowed here where I live yesterday, too, but it didn't last, sadly. :( I always feel like if it has to be cold then it could at least snow to make it pretty outside and distract from the cold. Hopefully, it will snow again soon so we can have a white Christmas! :)

As to the pages and labels...I don't know about the labels--you may have to Google that one. But I agree with Ceci on the review page. You have to go into "Layout" and find your pages gadget and then make sure the review page is checked so that it will appear above with the others. Hope that makes sense. :)

    1. I really like snow! But yeah, it is really cold. Yes, me too! What do you have a winter and cold for, right? It is not a winter except if there's snow! That's why I was so glad last year and this year when it FINALLY snowed. White winters are the best! :)
Maybe,yes...Okay, I'll see if it works! Thanks, Elanor! :)

  3. Aww, you've already had snow? That's so exciting! We've had a couple of flurries over the past couple days (it actually snowed a bit this evening!), but it didn't stick because it had been raining beforehand. :/ Still, though, it's been so cool to see it this early! Normally where I live in the southern US it doesn't snow very much until January or February.

Enjoy your wintry weather, Ruth! :)

    1. Yeah, we had that at first too. It rained and then the ground was all wet and puddles, and the snow just melted as soon as it hit the ground. Fortunately, later the ground was colder so it sticked then :) First snow is always exciting, even when you can only look at it. I hope you get more snow this year!
      Thanks, you too, Molly! :D

So, I see the new page, but I do not see any labels. Maybe, make sure that each of your posts have tags? I'm sorry I am not more helpful! :/

    1. I like summer best, but winter is pretty great too! :) Ooh, a snow fort! Our iglo melted :( We never finished it :D Yeah, snow ball fights are great! Aw, thanks!
No, the labels thing is still unresolved, I really have no idea how to do it :( O, that's okay, it's a good idea to have my posts tagged. I hadn't thought of that yet.
