Edith is one of the persons who developed the best during the seasons. After Thomas Barrow. She is one of the people I feel most sorry for. It's like she always has misfortunes(like Anna Bates). Warning! There are gonna be a few spoilers around!
Well, that's not true, what she says right there. She isn't a failure. She is nice, and friendly(not to everyone perhaps) and she is one of my favourite characters. She has known many sorrow. After the man who she loves, died when the Titanic sank, and then came back, but left again, she was sad. And Sir Anthony Strallan. They would marry, but he left her at the alter, because he thought he was too old for her, actually I am glad they didn't marry, but poor Edith...she thought they would marry and she loved him and he left her. She was so happy first.
And then she got dissapointed. Again, she meets a man, who she loves. Michael Gregson was his name. He had a wife, but tried to devorce with her. Edith and he had a child together, Marigold. Edith finds out Michael died, which is really tragical for her and her not yet born child. She has to give Marigold to a farmer an his family, otherwise she would be ruined for always. In the end, she gets her child back. I was so happy for her! Then she meets Bertie Pelham, who becomes her new love. Mary ruins all by revealing Marigold is Edith' child. Bertie is shocked, not because of her illegitimate child, but because of her dishonesty. Edith knew that Mary would say it once, like she said herself.
I really feel sorry for her, because she is so sad. Someone who can't feel sorry for her, must really have an other opinion of people than I do.
In the end, Bertie comes back to her and still wants to marry her, but he doesn't want his mother to know the secret Edith holds. She has a guilty feeling about it and wants to be honest to Bertie's mother, so she tells her about ''it''.
With that, she earns the respect of Bertie's mother. Bertie and she get married.
She really deserved it! More than anyone else! Finally, she was happy! Now, everything was allright. If Edith was married, all was allright. At least that is what I thought. And Anna and Bates had to be happy, and Rose had to come back again just once. But when Edith was happy, I was happy. Because if this serie had ended without Edith married, I would just have the feeling it was not ready yet and I think I would be a little bit(or a lot) angry, because had so much misfortunes already, that one couldn't happen too. I'm so glad she married!

The Downton Abbey Tag
Naomi from Wonderland Creek did the Downton Abbey Tag.
1. Who introduced you to Downton Abbey?
My mom. We started to watch the series and we all loved it.
2. What season did you(or:do you think you would)enjoy the most?
Definitely season two. Because that's just the best. Season one and three are great too, of course, and six, four and five are great too. But season two is still the best.
3. Who wore the prettiest wedding dress?
They're all veeeery pretty, but Rose's is the best.
4. What plot twist/scene came most unexpected to you(Or do you pre-read all the spoilers)?
I didn't think Tom really would go away(But I knew he would come back). And when Matthew first arrived, I didn't think he would be nice. I thought he would be not so nice(really weird to think that, right). And like Naomi said, that scene when Robert threw up blood, was really unexpected.
5. If you could save one character from dying, who would you save?
Oh, no! Not this question! However I so would like Matthew to live, and Mary being not so mean, I still think Sybil diserved to live. So I will choose Sybil.
I mean, this is too sad.
6. Who is your favourite Downton Abbey footman?
Well, that would be William. If he wasn't there in the war, Matthew would have died far sooner. And he's really kind.
7. What typo annoys you more? ''Downtown Abbey'' or ''Downton Abby''?
''Downtown Abbey''.
8. Which character do you think developed the best throughout the seasons?
Thomas Barrow. He was really mean first. I'm happy he changed to actually very kind.
9. Favourite Downton couple?(Okay, pick two, because there's too much cuteness to narrow down to one.)
Tom and Sybil at the top. Next are Mary and Matthew. But Anna&Bates and Edith&Bertie come close by.
10. Which of Granny Grantham's one-liners is your favourite?
I think it's ''Don't be defeatist, dear. It's very middle class.''
11. How do you react when you meet another DA-lover?
Well, I'm a bit(actually very) shy when I'm with people I don't know, but I think I would ask them the ins and outs(if I weren't so shy).
12. Do you think the show should go on and on, or do you think it should have ended earlier?
I think it shouldn't have stopped with season six. They could have made a season seven. But not more. Else it will really be a soap. But it's so great. They could make up lots of other things to film.
13. Which room in Downton Abbey is your favourite?
The library!! I love books, and that room is stocked with books. And it's very pretty, add that.
14. If you could be part of the story, would you rather be a person downstairs or upstairs?
However I like the persons downstairs, and would like to be with all those friendly people, I think I would choose upstairs.
15. Who would you rather spend an afternoon with, Mrs Patmore or Lady Grantham(Cora)?
Of course, Cora. She's nice and I would like to spend an afternoon with her!
16. Do you have any Downton Abbey inside jokes with someone?
Actually no.
17. Describe the show in one word.
Amazingly-great-serie!
18. On a scale of 1-10, how much of a fan do you consider yourself?
Because there are some scenes I don't like, I think I am a 9-fan.
19. Do you sometimes forget who is who?
Strangly enough, no. I can remember who is who. Like one time(this is absolutely not meant to be bragging), one of my sisters said''Who was that again?'', when Gwen came in, in the last season, and I knew.
20. Finally, who is your favourite character (okay, pick three favourites, but no more than three-NO MORE), and why do you love them?
Sybil, because she is so sweet and kind, and want to help everyone and because she is my favourite, Lady Violet, because she is hilarioud and sarcastic, and she still can be kind to someone, and because she teases so much and always has something to say. And Edith, because she is so sad, and kind, and honest, and I really like her.
That were all the questions.

Made a new blog!
It is a blog about book reviews, writing and reading. Not about normal life, but just, well, what I said just now. If you're interested, it is here. I just started, so there are only two posts. No pages, no blog buttons, only 7 pageviews. I already made a header, and a name, and I picked a background. So, I hope, you'll visit once.
And, I made a new header. Here it is.
I can't choose between this one or the last one, which to pick as nicest. I think they are both nice.

Hugo(2011)-A review
Hugo is a movie from 2011, which I have watched two times. If I have watched a movie two times, I think my opinion about that one is established. Except when it is a mini-serie or serie. Then it's established with the first time. This one is no serie, so my opinion is established now, after two times.
Hugo.
Hugo is a rather quiet boy. He is really kind and a little bit sad. I feel sorry for him. He didn't knwo his mother, his father died in a fire, he had to go live with his uncle, who disappeared a few months afterwards. He was lonely and had nobody to talk with. He had to steal his food and drink, and he steals mechanical stuff to repair the automaton, so he won't feel lonely anymore. Eventually in the end(warning:spoiler!), he finds a family. Happy ending for him, fortunately.
Isabelle.
Isabelle is a kind, friendly, sweet and loving girl. She is adopted and had never seen a movie, until Hugo, who is her friend, took her to the movie theater. I think she is one of my favorite characters in this movie. I like her very much.
Papa Georges.
I don't like him so much. He is not so kind to Hugo. But I feel a little bit sorry for him, because he lost his movies and his job, movie director. He loved to make movies. He has a loving wife and daughter. But his hair! I think they sticked something on it so it would seem he was bold on that place, becase it doesn't look real.
Mama Jeanne.
She is nice. Mama Jeanne. She is also emotional and loves her husband and daughter. I have nothing else to say about her, sorry.
Inspector Gustave.
Inspector Gustave is not always kind, at least in the beginning. But in the end, he is nice and friendly. He is actually a bit shy sometimes, to that flower girl Lisette. I like him in the end, when he lets Hugo go, and after that.
Monsieur Labisse.
He didn't appear much in the movie, so I won't tell much about him. Only that he is a librarian and that he is kind, but mistrustful. Nothing else. And that he gave Hugo a book to read.
All with all, I like this movie very much, although some scenes might be a little bit scary for those who are very soon frightened.

Yay! Back again! This might be a long post(and certainly a picture-heavy post), so try to sit comfortable.
Every morning we ate apples from the appletrees in the porridge, from my grandparents garden.
I picked, together with my little sister and two little brothers, blackberries,
wine berries,
tiny strawberries,
and tomatoes. All from my grandparents garden.
My older brother made a fire, together with my grandpa, and we baked bread above it.
The beautiful and warm campfire. I think flames of a fire are always interesting to look at. We sang campfire-songs by the campfire, which we studied before.
The weather...well, what should I say? It was varied. Rainy, cloudy and sunshine with blue skies.
One day it even rained the whole day. Terrible! My older sister, older brother and I slept in the shed. It's not an animal shed, if you might think so, just an ordinary shed, where you can sleep in. We talked a lot, and one night we talked until almost midnight. It was a quarter to twelve. Literally midnight! When we woke up, I was terribly tired and yawning and stretching most of the day. There were Spanish people visiting one time, my father and grandpa washed the car, I chalked, I played volleyball with all my brothers and sisters. My niece and nephew visited. Every morning we sang two songs, and my grandpa played on the guitar. I read The Painters Daughter by Julie Klassen, Sense and Sensibility by Jane Austen, Northanger Abbey by Jane Austen, To Kill A Mockingbird by Harper Lee, and we all watched together Love Begins(which is, as I recently discovered, one of the nicest of that serie), Love's Abiding Joy, Love's Enduring Courage, We Bought A Zoo, and Hugo(there is a review about to follow about this movie, by the way). The grapes were not ready yet, which is a shame, because they're delicious.
My brother bought a ball, blue and white, and we played volleyball. Well, one day, I think it was the fifth day or something around that time, the ball was gone. We searched everywhere. Even the little ones(as we all like to call them, my youngest sister and youngest two brothers) helped to search, together with my grandparents neighbor boy. We even looked at the neighbors garden, but the ball was unfindable. So he(my brother) bought a new one, exactly the same, from the store. It was really weird and we didn't find the ball again. We had a pizza day! Delicious! My grandparents made the pizza, with a little help from my sister and niece. In the evening we made a campfire(again, but without the bread), and got in the house to eat the pizza. There were a few people, all family or almost family. And it was quite nice sitting there, with the sixteen of us. After that we ate ice cream. My older sister and my niece were the only children that ate scoop ice cream, all the other ate the normal ones, with a stick. But these ice creams were different, they had a stick of licorice, and were made of....yes indeed, lemon ice cream! It was a pretty nice evening, and we slept well. We walked threw the forest two times, were going to stores,we didn't go swimming, which is really a pity, I was solving sudoku puzzles...all with all, these two weeks were great!!
This was just coincidence, this picture. I was just walking in the garden with the camera, and then the sun shine exactly on that spot. I couldn't let this perfect picture get away, so I made a photo. I think it's really pretty.
There are always pigeons in the garden of my grandparents. If I here a pigeon somewhere, I immediately think of my grandma and grandpa. That can sound a little bit peculiar, but it is true. So, again, it were two amazing weeks!

I'm away for two weeks!
A quick announcement!
I'll be away for two weeks. To visit my grandparents. So if I don't make posts, don't be surprised. We don't take our computers with us. ;-)
You can still comment. If you want, because then I'll read them when I come home. I always like to recieve, read and answer comments. I'm going away on Monday, but the following days will be very busy, so this will probably be my last post for these two weeks.
Well, it will be a great two weeks. With swimming, beautiful weather(I hope), helping in the garden or kitchen(if I can remember and I'm not too late), maybe take a walk to the forest...
So, goodbye and until two weeks!

War and Peace-the sequel of the one before-
So, I have only one episode to watch from War and Peace. I can admit that it is not my favourite, although I like it. But one scene, after the war in Borogon, I think...it's a little bit unsuitable for children.
Natasha is engaged to Andrei, but when he is off to war, for a year, she falls in love with Anatole(who I really do not like), and wants to elope with him. This is prevented by Sonja, who told Natasha's father and mother, her aunt and uncle, Natasha's plan. And Natasha is ill for days. Because she broke the engagement with Andrei, and he could not forgive her, although he didn't tell her that.
Andrei dies. I had not expected that to happen. I thought later on he would forgive Natasha and marry her, but I think that is a little bit too happy-end-and-they-live-happily-ever-after-ish. He dies, leaving a sad Natasha, his grieving sister Marja and his little son. His father already died before him,
Pierre is still a little bit dull, and he is ever so clumsy. But I find him more agreeable now. He is not the boring-est person in War and Peace anymore. I think, and that is just a thought, that he will marry Natasha. Because he was almost going to tell Natasha that he loved her. But he is already married. But his wife is awful. I'll be so happy when she leaves Russia, or just leaves Moskou.
I like the ball, so I'm putting one picture of it on this post. See what the next and last episode brings.
