~Movies I want to watch~

To my ''Movie Bucket List'' then.

Uh-huh, yes, I read Insurgent and Allegiant and I loved them and I laughed and I cried and the Divergent series is definitely a favorite bookseries now! Definitely! Anyhow, I'd like to watch the movie adaption too, to see if it's any good. My oldest sister says it is.

Also, after I read Percy Jackson(only the first two books, I couldn't find the others yet), I thought maybe Percy Jackson movies someday. But people say the Percy Jackson movies were not at ALL like the books and it's not any good. So maybe no. But maybe yes. I'm very indecisive.

I really want to watch The Greatest Showman. I've heard so many good things about this movie, everyone is saying it is such a fabulous movie, and I've listened to the songs(they are so fantastic) and I just want to see this movie.

The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society has been on this list since I heard there was a movie. I. Want. To. Watch. It. Seriously, real bad! My oldest sister watched it and said it was a very good adaption of the books and not at all a disappointment. Glad about that. I'm gonna be so happy when I find this in  the library!
(Also, Michiel Huisman plays Dawsey. I think he has some Dutch ancestors, because ''Michiel Huisman''? Definitely a Dutch name.)

I also read The Fault in Our Stars by John Green. It was a great book and of course again a ''cry book''. But anyway, I'd like to watch the movie someday too.
(Honestly, I loved Augustus and Hazel, but Isaac! I really loved Isaac too! He was so funny!)

I would like to watch Narnia. I know, I know, which child hasn't read or watched Narnia, but seriously, I haven't. And I would like too. Actually, I want to read the books, but I can't find the books in English(because I want to read books in English). Argh, Dutch libraries!

Uhm, also I want to watch Bridge to Terabithia, because people keep saying it is a really great movie, so...Also, Josh Hutcherson(younger then) plays in it. I always like when there are actors I know in movies.

And I want to watch The Breakfast Club, because my oldest sister watches it and said it was really great. So yeah. Also someday, when I got the time, Full House and Fuller House. Because we started it and I kinda really liked it, but nobody wanted to watch it further, because it was with laughing in the background. I admit, a little annoying, but you adjust and don't notice anymore.


And ugh, I want to read Harry Potter! The first book is constantly already taken by someone else. Really annoying. And I can't find The Two Towers, the second part in LotR, which is also annoying because I want to read that before the first book is too long ago.
And further, all kinds of animation movies too.

As for the books, I'm currently reading I Am Number Four(which is pretty nice), but I really need to find new books that are good. So if there are any suggestions, then please, tell. I would love to get to know books I know are worth reading because you all recommend it. I sometimes, or rather: very often, lend books and then they're not good. Like I lend Carve in the Mark by Veronica Roth(because it was written by her), but I found it boring. And a book by Pierce Brown or something, called Red Rising(I think?) but that was just a stupid book. So, as I said, recommendations are véry welcome ;)

I am apparently Peter, because ''I attacked Edward because I am Dauntless''. Even though sometimes I hated Peter, I did like him. Strange, huh? How ''villains'' can actually grow on you.
Anyhow, stopping now.

~Hello after a long while: About The Hunger Games and other new books~

Oh man. How long has it been since I last made a new post? It feels like centuries ago. Here in the Netherlands, we have had two heat waves shortly after eachother. All the time it was at least around 30 degrees celsius. Summer started in spring and finally cooled down yesterday. Weather is, at last, starting to get more fall-ish.
Anyhow, the latest...
We're watching Broadchurch. I like it, not really, but somewhat. Sometimes it's boring and a little too dramatic for me.
Before that we were watching Gotham. We put it off because it was weird and got weirder by the episode. I did like it though, but it was too weird for our taste. And totally not suited for the younger ones.
And before that, we watched Prison Break, which is AMAZING!! We also watched Nanny McPhee. We all enjoyed the movie. It was funny and cozy.(I can't believe that Thomas Brodie-Sangster, who played Simon in that time, was fifteen there! He looked like eight)
The real post was actually gonna be book reviews.
Wow, very interesting.

Okay, first (three) books.

It certainly was time to read new books. I have been re-reading books and then I saw my sister had a new book and I checked the back and I read it and it was awesome and its name was The Hunger Games. It was so good! So! Good! And then I read Catching Fire and then Mockingjay and they were all so great! I was sad when I finished Mockingjay, knowing it was the end. My favourite characters were obviously Katniss and Peeta. Although I liked Haymitch too. He made me laugh.
Oh, and Finnick and Prim. And Rue! And I actually kind of really liked Thresh too, even though he was only mentioned here and there. And Boggs. I really liked Boggs too.
And how could I forget Johanna and Cinna! All in all, the Hunger Games was basically marvelous, and it's my favourite futuristic book ever!


Then, I read Divergent. I liked it, but not really like ''Yahoo!Favourite!''. Honestly, when I ended it, I didn't really feel like reading the second book. (Is this weird? Because I come across pins on Pinterest that say Divergent is a great book. It was good, yeah okay, but I didn't feel any urge to read the next books right away like happens when it's really a good book. But that just might be the mood. You know, when you are done reading and don't have a second book to read, and then you find a different book you always wanted to read, and forget about the second of Divergent.) Oh, and by the way, Tris and Four(Tobias, sorry, I keep saying Four) were somewhat...Okay, they were a great couple later and I'm sure they grow in their relationship in the second book, but right now I personally thought it came...quick. Well, never mind that. Of course, they were two of the favourites, but actually I really liked Will too. Plus Christina.
So, to say it straight, I was a little bit disappointed at Divergent. But that might be because I set my standards way too high before I even read the book. Happens more often. Probably, in a few days, I'm gonna change my mind and say: oh, I was wrong. Divergent is a grand book and not a disappointment after all!

 I read(well, am still reading)Lord of the Rings: the Fellowship of the Ring. The beginning was a little bit boring, but it becomes better when you read through. I believe that you should finish a book completely before you totally judge it. I'm not finished with it yet, though. Only on page 145 or something. Favourite now is probably...Pippin? I like Pippin. But Frodo, Merry and Sam also. Bilbo hasn't been in the stories that much yet(quirky names, ey?)The writing is really good. I admire the way the book is written. Really well. And I love the Elves. Oh, and the songs! (by the way, the Hanging Tree song from the Hunger Games was fabulous. And I absolutely love Rue's mockingjay whistle and the three-finger-salute! Why can't I make up such things for my stories?)

As for books I want to read. Obviously, the next books to the Lord of the Rings. And the Hobbit. They say that the Hobbit is better than the Fellowship of the Ring. And I wanna read the Percy Jackson series. And the Harry Potter series too.
Oh, I read The Maze Runner and The Scorch Trials. Didn't want to read The Death Cure, because I knew what was going to happen! Maybe I should read it. Newt was obviously my favourite character. Then Minho.


Now, to the movies.

I watched How To Train Your Dragon 1 and 2(pretty long time ago now, actually). They were both so great! I love Hiccup! And Toothless, aw.

 Then I watched Rise of the Guardians and guys...it's such a great movie! I love ALL of the characters. When I finished it, I just wanted to watch it again! (And also, you know those pins on Pinterest of Jelsa(Jack and Elsa together)? Even though I think it's cute, I think that Jack and Tooth is way better!)

Also, Big Hero 6. That was wonderful too! Why Tadashi? Why?

 And I watched Moana. Since I heard different opinions about it(some said it was a bad Disney princess movie, some said it was a good one, but not the best) I didn't really expect much of it. But I thought it was wonderful. I loved the character Moana. She's so not like any other Disney princess. And I loved that they made her realistic. Oh, and Hei Hei. He's hilarious and soooo crazy! And Moana's grandma(why are Disney grandmothers so great?) By the way, the big crab with his ''shiny'' stuff and his ''shiny song'' made my stomach ache from laughing. He's so absurd, but he was so funny too.

The ocean(how can I call it otherwise?) was so wonderful too and the animation was gorgeous!

 I forgot to mention Lilo&Stitch. I loved that movie too. And of course, I watched The Hunger Games, Catching Fire, and Mockingjay part 1&2 too! 

Who can not love these movies and books? Seriously.

I almost forgot that I watched Frozen. I wasn't expecting so much from this one either, because I thought it was really overrated. But it is honestly a really great movie!

Olaf is so funny! And I loved Anna! And Elsa too. And Kristoff was sooooo great, really.


Oh, by the way(this is gonna be the last, I promise) I also watched The Emperor's New Groove.

THIS MOVIE! It's so hilarious! I laughed so much my jaw started hurting. I really love this movie, and I never even heard of it until my older sister and brother said they watched it and said it was a really funny movie. And there's hardly anything weird in it. Only the fact that Kuzco transforms into a llama and all the other potions. That's the only weird thing, really.

Movies I want to watch soon are...the Incredibles 2(oh, wait, I also watched The Incredibles. How can I keep forgetting all those movies? Dash, unexpectedly, was the one who made me laugh the most. Sometimes he could just be so funny all of a sudden. Oh and Edna Mode!), and well obviously: The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society. And Paddington 2 and Ocean's Eight. And Peter Rabbit. I also kind of want to watch Wreck-It-Ralph, even though my oldest sister said it was boring. And people are saying there's gonna be a Frozen 2 and a How to train your dragon 3, so I want to watch those too, when they come. Also The Hunchback of Notre Dame. And Anne with an E.                                                                                                                                  

The Princess and the Frog. I watched that one too. I liked it. Aladdin was great too(Okay, that is really gonna be the last one I remember I watched).

I love these two so much!

Now, what is it I wanted to say again?
About writing, just that I've been working on several stories and it's coming along. Writer's Block(even though pretty short)is over.

As for my drawing, I've recently got a big sketchbook from my dad(it was on the table when I woke up) and I have tried to draw Katniss. One succeeded, two failed(some parts were good, but mostly just bad). I am not a pro in drawing, not at all. I can't draw masterpieces, so.
I've made lots and lots of drawings over time, but Katniss is the most recent. Tried Peeta too, but he's even harder. Boys are always harder to draw than girls. For me.
Gonna quit now. I should get this post published before I go off the computer. And by the way, if I go on for so long, I'll bore everyone(if anyone even read until the end).

I just wanna hug these books. And the movies with it :P
