My opinion of Robin Hood BBC

I know I've already made a Robin Hood BBC post, but I have not really told my opinion about the series. Well, here it is.

Let's start with the series itself. It is funny, exciting and what I also like very much, is that it is different than the books.

The Music. It is so compelling. If I'm doing something on the computer, and I listen to the music of Robin Hood BBC, I'm only listening and not doing the things I wanted to do. Not always, of course, but most of the time...yeah.

Lady Marian. Lucy Griffiths is perfect for the role of Marian. She had dark hair, but she usually has blond hair in the books. And she speaks her own mind. And sometimes, she is very stubborn, but also very kind.

The Set. The nature is really beautiful, especially Sherwood Forest. The set was filmed in Hungary. Weird, I always thought it was filmed in England. And the castle is also nice. It was all real, except when the castle exploded, which was created specifically for that scene.

Robin Hood (Robin of Locksley). Jonas Armstrong is also good for the role of Robin Hood. It would be weird if there was a other Robin Hood, or a other Much, or a other Marian. You can name it all, but there are very much persons in the series, so. In the beginning, he was very selfish.

The Other Stars. Joe Armstrong is the right person for the role of Allan A Dale. He can make such funny faces. And it is funny that he plays a sort of thief in the series, while in the books, he is a musician or a noble. Joanne Froggatt is good for the role too, but I just do not like Kate in the series. The sherriff also plays very well, just as all the other stars in the series.

The Costumes. However some of the costumes are not só medieval, the costumes are really nice.

The weapons. Robin's bow is a recurve bow, and he has a scimitar. The recurve bow and the scimitars are more graceful than regular swords  and bows.

That's the end. Hope you had fun reading this post!

Food Art

Peacock
It is just amazing what people can make of food. Look at the peacock for example. Is'nt it beautiful carved.
I wish I could make that sort of things. But you can't play with food, is'nt it? ;-)
Maybe you think: ''That is just one nice carved peacock.'' But after you've seen more of this sort of carved peacocks, or other things, you'll change your mind.

I'll just show you some examples of  carved animals and other carved things.

Well, did you change your opinion of Food Art? I bet you did.

And here are some more examples, to convince you even more.
No, joke, this is the end.
Bye, see you next time!

Singin' in the rain

Singin' in the rain is a 1952 American musical comedy film directed by Gene Kelly and Stanley Donen.

I really like the movie. It is not so long ago since we watched the movie. I especially like the songs: ''Singin' in the rain'', ''Make 'Em Laugh'' and ''Goodmorning''. Or the song they sang of ''Moses supposes his toeses are roses, but Moses supposes erroniously.'' :-)

Here is a gif from that last song.
I think it is very hard to dance like that! If you practice a lot, i think you can manage. It is just a movie, I know, but when they sing and dance it is usually their own doing.

So, that's it, I think. Some pictures below for the end.

Very nice drawings

I like drawing. And drawings. Especially when they are really pretty. My sisters have a friend who draws really nice to. I wish i could draw pretty drawings.

Here are two pretty drawings.

Quotes

I like quotes. The most funny, but also nice, like from Cinderella:
Quote
''Have courage and be kind'' or like the one in the picture on the right. Sometimes I don't even understand quotes :-).

Here are some quotes I like.

I don't know if they are quotes, but anyway, they do look a bit like quotes.
